How much does it cost?

We charge just £1.55 (inc. VAT) per dictated minute in the UK and £1.55 (no tax) for all other countries. Click here for a universal currency converter.

We charge per "dictated minute" rather than per word, line or time taken to type, that way you know exactly what the cost will be before you send us the work. It is important to recognise that people dictate 3- 4 times more quickly than they type (and approx 7 times more quickly than they write) so a 10 minute dictation could take 30 - 40 minutes to type. With d2u you only pay for 10 minutes with a typist you would pay for the 30 - 40 minutes.

How long does it take to get your work back?

We will then transcribe the file into your template (if supplied) and return the document to your email address or it can be uploaded to your online account. The time taken for d2u to transcribe your work varies according to the duration of the dictation file:

Files less than 5 mins long	Files more than 5 mins long
Transcribed within 60 minutes	Transcribed within 24 hours

All our typists are office-based with no means of removing data from their machines, we do not use "home workers," and all have signed confidentiality agreements. We are fully Data Protected to the highest level with the Information Commissioners Office; our registration number is Z189181X.
